Year group and provision: Year 9 student requiring ~15 hours/week tuition (Mon–Fri, 12:30–3:30, flexible). Initially home-based, with a goal of gradual transition to a local library.

Background: Out of formal education for nine months, has an EHCP and complex SEMH needs, leading to significant anxiety and difficulty leaving home. ASD and ADHD. Interested in music, Minecraft (gaming), animals.

Key barriers:

• High anxiety affecting relationships with peers/adults

• Processing delays - needs time and minimal question overload

• Prefers visual learning; struggles with abstract concepts

• Reduced stamina due to absence from school - requires short, structured sessions with regular movement breaks
